Epic Hockey Stars Logo FINALEPIC HOCKEY STARS is a hockey dream of Oliver and his mother Carol Whiteley that has materialised into reality. Both being passionate about field hockey they want to make their impact into this growing sport. Although Oliver, a Springbok international, has decided to seek his future overseas, Carol's determination has led to the continuation of this quest.

EPIC HOCKEY STARS club is based at Roedean School where Carol was a physical education teacher. Carol has gathered a keen support team around her with Sean Donaldson as head coach and Keri van der Westhuizen handling the administration of the club. Carol realised it is important to have a strong administration team and dedicated coaches behind her to allow her to manage the overall running of the club.

The club was established to provide specialised hockey coaching to the girls at Roedean junior school. The club has expanded year by year drawing children from several other schools as the club's reputation for vast improvement and a happy atmosphere spreads around the city.

The club is growing from the original mini hockey to junior hockey, catering for ages from 5 to 13 girls and boys.

Last seasons membership exceeded 120 young players.

If you have a child keen on hockey come and join this new progressive club.
